Add laser accuracy to your miter saw. Easy to install and use, just replace the outside 5/8" arbor blade washer with the self-aligning Laser Guide. No adjustments are necessary and no confusing parts. Provides a clean, bright, easy to see beam of red light that turns on and off automatically. Includes batteries, hex wrench, mounting screws, and nylon case. Fits most 7" to 12" miter saws except Bosch, Ridgid or Protech saws.

I have had this tool for about a week. It fit my Makita combo saw just fine. I have no problem making accurate cuts with it.

For what saw?

This item is not specific enough as to applications. I bought one under the Irwin brand name, and found it would not fit my DeWalt 708. Irwin had nothing further to say about it, except to return it to the place of purchase.

nice addition

Works just fine for me. Have 2 Dewalt miters (1 fixed 1slider ) fits fine and gives an accurate clear line. Never thought I needed one but it really does help line up the cut.
