They maintain exceptional flatness, unlike wood or plastic inserts, and cut easily with carbide blades. The melamine surface provides nearly frictionless sliding and is highly impact and abrasion resistant. Each insert has top accessible leveling screws, side and end adjustment screws to facilitate perfect fit and a rear safety pin provides lift out protection.
